National Windscreens would like to congratulate John Poole, Head of Sales (North West and East), on raising an impressive £358 for Cancer Research UK by successfully completing the Great Birmingham Run half-marathon last month.
John ran in support of the UK cancer charity with representatives from one of National Windscreens’ fleet customers - Automated Systems Group (ASL).
John confirms, “I thoroughly enjoyed the Great Birmingham Run from start to finish. Not only did it provide me with an amazing opportunity to raise funds for a deserving charity close to my heart, it also enabled me to spend time out of the office with one of our Cambridge based customers, which in itself was great fun!”
The event attracted thousands of runners to the city, many of whom completed the 13.1 mile route in a bid to raise as much money as possible for their nominated charity.
Following his success at the Great Birmingham Run, John has now registered for the Stanwick Lakes Half Marathon in Northampton at the end of November, and has also set his sights on completing a full marathon in 2016 - all in aid of cancer research.
