Female technicians from National Windscreens recently attended the Female Technician Summit 2024, a new initiative from Cary Group. The summit gathered female technicians from Sweden and the UK to share their experiences and discuss how we can attract more female technicians.
This event is part of the new initiative to boost gender equality and diversity, aiming to increase female technicians by 84% by 2026, which will be supported by educative and networking events such as this.

One of our technicians who attended the summit, Christine, felt very empowered following the event and had this to say:
"I learned a lot about Cary Group at this event! It was great to meet other technicians from both the UK and Sweden and hear about their experiences and journey in our sector.
"We shared lots of thoughts and ideas which will help us in the UK with our plans to attract and retain more female technicians. I’m looking forward to next steps.”
Director of Operations, Andrew Rae, was also very encouraged by the summit:
