One of National Windscreens glazing technicians has been praised for his quick reactions following an accident earlier this week in which two elderly women were trapped in a burning car.
Darren Willman, a technician at our Aldershot fitting centre, happened to be on Bagshot Road in Bracknell when the ladies’ car flipped over and burst into flames. Quick thinking Darren removed the windscreen and helped both women out of the car whilst another passer-by extinguished the flames before fire crews from Bracknell and Wokingham arrived at the scene.
Kevin Mills, Manager at our Aldershot fitting centre, said “Believe it or not Darren then sprang into action again later that evening when a car hit the central reservation on the M3 and spun off the road. Darren, who happened to be on the scene again, removed the occupant from the car and coordinated the emergency services to the scene.
“All I can say is well done Darren you are a star and a very worthy employee.”
Well done Darren from all at National Windscreens!
