A customer centric focus is the key to the continued growth of National Windscreens as a leader in the UK automotive glass repair and replacement sector. That is according to Lisa Pugh, business development director (insurance), who has this month been appointed a board member of the company.
Lisa, who has been with National Windscreens for five years, takes over the board position from Barry Donaldson, who is leaving to support his family’s catering business having been business development director of National Windscreens for four years and a board member since 2015.
“The past five years have, without doubt, seen significant growth for National Windscreens,” said Lisa. “That is very much down to having a customer centric focus and my position on the board is about ensuring that this approach continues.”
“Rather than just working within the supply chain, we also work closely with underwriters and engineers. They recognise our expertise and experience, having been at the forefront of industry and technology advancements, investing substantially in areas such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration.
“By keeping ahead of the curve we have been able to work with and support these organisations, making them aware of the advances in technology such as Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) through on-going educational campaigns. As technology moves on, such as with RADAR, they know we’re already looking ahead at the impact it will have.”
Pete Marsden, managing director of National Windscreens adds:
“Lisa understands the business very well, particularly our customer centric ethos, something that is a particular key performance measure for insurance companies. But it’s also much broader than that. Each and every one of our customers is important to us and Lisa will bring her skills in customer and business development to help build on what we have already achieved.”
