National Windscreens has appointed Andy Hodge and Phil Homer, bringing a remarkable 86 years of combined industry knowledge into the business. Andy and Phil have joined following the acquisition of Autoglazing, the windscreen repair and replacement specialists in Cambridge.
Andy Hodge was managing director of Autoglazing and brings a wide range of business expertise to National Windscreens. In his new role as fleet director, he will work closely with the team to explore areas for growth, with particular focus on developing National Windscreens already substantial share of the fleet sector.
Andy states: "The professionalism and service delivery being offered by National Windscreens to the UK fleet market is outstanding. I can understand why so many fleet and leasing customers, where ‘time to serve’ and vehicle uptime are so critical, are choosing National Windscreens as their preferred supplier.”

Phil Homer worked as operations director at Autoglazing until 2024 and joins National Windscreens with a vast array of industry experience in delivering the highest standard of service in automotive glass. Phil’s understanding of service delivery and customer experience will have a key role in exceeding the expectations of partners and policyholders.
Phil said: “Joining National Windscreens alongside Andy is fantastic. We have worked together for many years, winning contracts and delivering results. I have worked in the industry all of my adult life, and this is a brilliant opportunity to further utilise my operational knowledge.
“Having started in the industry as a technician in 1977, then working in specialist glazing and now operations, I appreciate the many challenges of automotive glass. I am looking forward to working closely with the team and sharing my knowledge,” said Phil.
