National Windscreens is proud to be supporting the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) Accident Repair Sector Advisory Group. Established last month to tackle the issues with the accident repair sector, the group’s initial key objective is to ensure consistently high standards in technician competence for accident repair.
The IMI believes that the accident repair and glazing sectors need focused support due to the industry’s rapid pace of change on elements such as advances in technology and innovation with repair techniques. National Windscreens is a member of this group alongside a wide variety of other company types within the sector; contribution from all is critical to ensure the interests of all industry professionals are fully taken into account.
Alistair Carlton represented National Windscreens at the first meeting held last month at Thatcham Research’s HQ and will continue to attend and contribute on behalf of the company; the next meeting will be held in December.
